How are you all? I hope everyone is healthy these days. Seems as if stress is destroying who we are because of the economy, our faith in our jobs, our financial woes and etc ...
Gas and oil prices may have come down some, but we still have a huge problem. That problem is ... who will be our next president? I will not say who to vote for and who not to vote for. That choice is yours. However, don't complain on who won if you didn't vote. One more thing I want to add. This is the first election that has nothing to do with a democrat winning or a republican winning. Nothing. Not one iota. It has to do with a much grander scheme. What do I mean? ... you ask?

Let's put it this way. Without saying a name, there is a man running to be voted in the White House that is going to destroy everything America was built on. This man is paving the way for the antichrist. A 14 year old can get a CHEAP abortion without her parents knowing a thing. The middle class will be hunted down and ruined. The New World Order is on the brink of complete control. If you don't know who I mean, then you're voting for the wrong guy. Period.

No more poll questions. I actually repeated a poll question for a total length of 60 days. I send this newsletter in email to well over 120 people. In 60 days, only 20 answered the question. So, that tells me that only 1 in 6 answered the question in 60 days. It's not enough. I guess many people see this newsletter in email and just don't read it ... or delete it. That's fine. I hope this newsletter finds you well. So much going on in the world these days. The USA election is heating up. Palin has made a difference and George Bush will go down in history as one of the worst presidents ever. Football is back, the Fall Classic is upon us (post-season baseball) and the olympics are over. The colors are not peaked here, but the leaves are changing into those beautiful reds and bright yellows. And finally, we're ready for another update on what's new here at ROTK Radio !!!

Christian Rock Artist Of The Month
Barlow Girl has been our choice for a month now. We're going to extend it to next month because we have now added their hit song "Never Alone" as a video from GodTube.com. You can find it as a centerpiece when you slowly start scrolling down our home page.

Halloween
Is it safe? Is it evil? Is it Satanic? Is it a past-Christian day? What is it? What does it mean? Is it okay for my kids? Lots of questions. Here's the answer from Jack Kelley from his "Ask A Bible Teacher" Series.

Q. I have a 9 year old nephew that was told the other day by a classmate that Halloween is Satan’s holiday. With this “holiday” coming up I would appreciate any information concerning how to respond to questions such as these. I would also like to thank you guys for your website. It is truly incredible.

A. Our modern traditions apparently evolved from the Celtic belief that the spirits of the dead wandered around looking for bodies to inhabit every year on “All Hallows Eve” from which Halloween is derived . Since the living did not want to be possessed by spirits of the dead, some would put out their best food offerings on the doorstep to appease them. Others dressed up in costumes and paraded around the streets making loud noises to confuse and frighten the spirits away.
In addition, the new year began for the Celts on Nov. 1. So, Oct. 31 was believed to be a day that was neither in the year past or the year to come. Since it was in between, chaos ruled on that day. Often, people would pull practical jokes on others as a result.
Later, after the Catholic Church came along, people would knock on their neighbors’ doors offering to pray for them in return for a treat of some kind. After a while this practice devolved into the childish form of “Trick or Treat” blackmail we endure today.
For a variety of reasons, some believe that Christians shouldn't celebrate Halloween. Their reasoning runs from the idea that it’s a pagan holiday with no Christian heritage so it does not apply to us at one end of the spectrum to the belief that demonic forces are particularly strong on that day and believers should not unnecessarily expose themselves to such things at the other.
With the popularity of costumes that glorify characters many consider to be down right evil, and the danger of going out after dark in many neighborhoods, much of the innocent fun of the holiday is gone, and parents should consider their decision on whether or how to participate very carefully.

Well said. It's your choice to make. Here's a tip. Many churches do an event for Halloween where it's safe and fun. They teach a short message and the kids come home happy. Please see your church today about October 31st, which happens to be a Friday this year.

Ike

Devastating Hurricane Ike did a huge amount of damage. Many people couldn't return to their homes for well more than a week...even 2 weeks. The part that gets me is this. Why did the government not allow not 1 camera of any news person whatsoever in Galveston? Was it that dangerous? Or, were they hiding something? Conspiracy theorists want to know...lol. Lastly, where was FEMA? Many locals said they couldn't be found where it was hit much much worse than the areas FEMA was in. Shame shame.

I hope today finds you well. Summer is practically at a close. Today is Labor Day. Schools are back for the children. The last hoorah for cookouts. We'll be seeing the colors of the leaves very shortly from now. Autumn is upon us. And once again, it's that time for an ROTK Radio Newsletter. Here we go!

Katrina & Gustav
As I type this, Hurricane Gustav is slamming into Louisiana. However, God has shown Grace again. When Katrina was nearing La., it was a Category 5. When entering, Katrina weakened to a Category 3. Gustav has weakened to a Category 2. While damage and destruction will still be high, the death toll will be much less than the 1,600 Katrina caused. The largest evacuation ever on US soil, Gustav will not be the hindrance Katrina was.
However, I'm typing this as La. is getting slammed. We don't have a final outcome yet. Let's keep all those in the area in our prayers.

Rapture Ready
Are you Rapture ready? What is the Rapture? Well, RaptureReady.com has been and still is a powerful website helping those in need of questions. The Rapture is an event the Bible talks about before the 7 year Tribulation. What is the Tribulation? It's another event just before the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. I bet you're wondering what all this means.
Well, recently Todd Strandberg, the owner of RaptureReady.com, has asked other websites to mirror theirs. Why? Because when the millions of people disappear due to the Rapture (Jesus comes in the air to collect those who belong to Him), millions of people will be freaked out, scared and looking online for answers.
RaptureReady.com is going to receive so much traffic, that it needs to be hosted on many other sites. Sylvia and I also own another website that will host RaptureReady's. You can view it now. Admins Get Crackin'
We have so many things going on here at ROTK Radio. There is so much we want to do. We've added many new things to our site and always more on the way. We have new blocks on our home page. What is a block? Basically, if you take your time on our home page and scroll down slowly, you'll see many new center pieces. You must scroll the entire page.
Bigger Shout Box is also a great addition. There are no more 60 entries per hour but now unlimited. It's refresh rate went from once per minute to ten times per minute.
In addition, we've created an easier to use Link Block. All of those links there are also pop-up. Where is it? Easy. Under the Vote button upper left corner. Go ahead. Read the links there. Easier right?

Our good friend and DJ here Scotty has taken on the position of being our marketing manager. This is a huge help for us. There's only so much time in a day. Greetings and blessings to you all !

I do hope all is well with you all. It has been an amazing month. June has shown us much progress in numbers. June has also been a month of crazy weather. China and Japan have had many earthquakes. Cyclones have been all over. The Mississippi River has caused just devastating damage to thousands of people. Houses completely gone. Fires have been everywhere, but California takes the cake. Thunderstorms practically everyday in many states. Tornadoes ripping across the plain states. Gas, food, oil and gold all up. Deadly viruses sprouting once again globally. Is it going to end?

Jesus Speaks about this. "And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places." Matthew 24:6-7

Hold on to your loved one's hand, because much more is on the way.

Survival Items
We've all been raised up with having some knowledge from our parents or guardians about having certain items when a big storm to some effect is heading our way. Candles, matches, flashlights, batteries, canned food, can opener, water, a radio, first aid kit, clothing, tent, blankets and so on. Why am I bringing this up? Because, the crazy weather that I mentioned above, plus the possibility of Iran or Russia wanting to start trouble, we need to have items now and be prepared. I suggest highly in purchasing a good sized generator now. Also, keep your gold. Don't sell your gold yet. It's going to keep going up. Get ready folks. Whether you like the sound of this or not is not up for debate. Be prepared.

Independence Day

For Americans, this Friday is the Fourth of July (Independence Day). It marks our 232nd year. It's a time to reflect the signing of the Declaration of Independence. However, Arnold says no fireworks due to the threat of the very dry ground catching fire from the fireworks. You might see more states or certain areas do the same. For once, I agree with the Governor of California.

A Day At The Races
Not that I've read every article, watched every clip of information and signed up for the hottest new news in the Democratic race of 2008, but I have to admit that this has been very exciting this year, whether you're a Republican or a Democrat. Here's some very interesting information found by a friend of ours named Leslie:

Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya, his father's family was mainly Arabs. Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate even states he's Arab, not African Negro).

What does this mean? Maybe nothing. But, why is Obama trying to hide this? Why does he try to hide is middle name? Why does he try to hide the religious Muslim school he attended as a child in Indonesia? Why doesn't he set the record straight that he wouldn't be the first black President? Why so many cover-ups and hiding of the truth? Further, at only 6.25% African Negro, would he even be the first President who was part black? Not at all!

Our 3rd President, Thomas Jefferson was our first part black President. And he's not alone, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding and Calvin Coolidge were also part black.

President Andrew Jackson was the son of an Irish woman who married a black man. Andrew Jackson was such a high percentage black that his oldest brother was sold as a slave!

President Abraham Lincoln was the illegitimate son of an African man, he had very dark skin and coarse hair and his mother also allegedly came from an Ethiopian tribe. His heritage fueled so much controversy that Lincoln was nicknamed "Abraham Africanus the First" by his opponents.

President Warren Harding never even denied claims that he was black, because he had black ancestors between both sets of parents and he attended Iberia College, a school founded to educate fugitive slaves.

President Calvin Coolidge was proud of his heritage and claimed his mother was dark because of mixed Indian ancestry. Coolidge's mother's maiden name was "Moor" and in Europe the name "Moor" was given to all blacks just as "Negro" was used in America.

Like I said above - interesting.

Greetings and blessings to you all !

I wanted to talk to you about Christian Radio Stations on the Internet. There are many different kinds of stations that "they" call themselves Christian. There's one (name withheld), that offers secular music as well. But, they call themselves Christian. Now listen. I'm not judging. However, why call yourself a Christian radio station and also offer secular? There's no sense to this conclusion.

This is typical of what we see in not just stations, but religions all across the world where they offer a "gray area". Allow me to explain. God, the Creator of everything visible and invisible is very black and white. It's His Way or the other way. It's His Existence we live with or the other existence. It's His Glory or glory to the fallen one. There is NO gray area with God.

No gray area you say? None. You're either For God or Against Him. That's it. NO GRAY AREA !!!

With that said, why do people offer a gray area in their churches, children activities, teen and youth activities and also with their stations and etc . . . ??

Answer is for the numbers. We see it more and more. Religious organizations that are trying to ease the message so people will come, feel good inside, and donate their money. We see it everyday. This is basically this: Wolves in sheep's clothing. It's against the Word of God, the Holy Bible. We are warned of this from our Savior Himself, Jesus Christ.

The more numbers for these people, the more money they get. WRONG! So wrong. The Bible IS the Word of God - HIS AUTHORITY.

So, now we see why people like to offer the watered down message - the gray area. With ROTK Radio, there is no secular except for a fun night with me called "Reminisce With Frankee" One hour of something that has a heart-desired good intention. But, we're not just about music. Here's what we offer: Down loadable audio lessons from Frankee, a Forum (you must join our FREE Account to view it), a Devotional, a Blog called Kingdom Come by Frankee, Articles that teach much about the Bible or the Rapture, a show by Syl called "Women on Fire for Jesus", children's stories that teach good morals and values from Kimberly, Audio sermons from various pastors, Prayer requests, lots of videos and lots you can download, a Fellowship Chat that comes with our free down loadable tool bar ... and much, much more.

Are we perfect, angelic and sinless? No. But, our heart desires to serve God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Will you tell people about us? Will you tell both believers and non believers? Can we help those who need help?

God Leads, we follow. The choice is yours as to what radio station you desire.

Remember towards the end when the rebels in their X-Wing Fighters are trying to shoot their blasters in that tiny crevice to destroy the Death Star? Not Almost There
We're working on a new web site. It'll be raptured based. Lots of end time talk. Even controversial topics and conspiracy topics. We're hoping to have it up and running ASAP. This web site might be very useful and helpful for those left behind. We'll keep you posted on it.

A 6 hour commercial free movie that has such talented actors and actresses. Please watch it now. It's located in the center of our home page under Events Schedule and also in News Archives. Eventually, the entire movie will be posted here.

*Feeling Good About Ourselves Part 2

Greetings again !

Today I'm writing the 2nd part of this topic. It's my desire to share with you all a more in depth lesson on how we can serve one master and feel good about ourselves. I choose to serve God. I choose to not serve Satan.

Pleasing God is both difficult and not difficult at the same time. Being obedient to the Word and Authority of God is sometimes easy and sometimes hard depending on the situation and our heart. The heart is what God looks at.

In order for us to feel good about ourselves, we need to understand what is given to us in the Holy Scriptures and how to apply it. Let's take children for example. Children don't have a worldly understanding and most children seem to look, see, seek and find the good, the positive. Children keep things simple. A smile from their faces and the words I love you touch moms and dads more than money can buy.

Jesus desires that we all come to Him like children. I understand that as we get older, move out from mom and dads, possibly marriage and a family, house, car and etc..., life becomes different. Bills and more bills seem to add up, schools for the kids, student loans still lingering. It never ends. However, no matter what choices we make that allow this lifestyle, there is no excuse for us to not give time to God. No calender or schedule we put upon ourselves should come before God.

Did you ever hear your child say to you, "Sorry mom (dad), but I don't have time to spend with you today because I'm so busy. But tomorrow looks good after 11 am" ? Of course not. Their lifestyles are simpler because of common sense. Their agenda, their time and their choices are simpler, more easy going and easier. Our children need us to help teach them how to take care of themselves as they get older. To help them until they have learned as much as we can give them to prepare them for the outside world.

Our children are never too busy for us and neither should we ever be too busy for God. Now think a moment. What does your child/children say or do that pleases you and makes you happy? Take a few.

What was that you said? When they obey you? When they apply their time in school and achieve good grades? When they treat others politely and show respect? When out of no where they say they love you?

Let's translate now.
When they obey you - Do you obey God?
When they apply their time in school and achieve good grades - Do you study the Bible?
When they treat others politely and show respect - Do you do that?
When out of no where they say they love you - God says that to you everyday. Ever say it back?

Now do you see just how easy it is to make God happy, please Him and in addition, you feel good about yourself? You need to unlearn what you have learned here in this world and just come to the Father like a child. You're His Child, now act like one. Love Him. Cherish your time with Him. Worship Him. Put aside your worldly choices that created your calender and just give Him thanks. Talk to Him. Literally, too. God adores when we pray out loud to Him. You don't have to scream because He is everywhere *chuckles*. But, talk to Him. Laugh with Him. Read the Bible. Love others as you love yourself.

Children's hearts desire to make us happy, to please us. They're happy when we're happy. They know what makes us happy. It doesn't take much for them to do to make us smile. Is it any different with God? You're His Child. Now that you know how to make Him Happy, will you do it?

*Return Of The KING

Greetings and blessings to you all !

As we're living in the end times, I wanted to discuss what prophecy says about the KING of Israel, the KING of kings and LORD of lords - Jesus Christ the Nazarene. The time is near. The signs are right before our eyes. Jesus tells us there will be wars and rumors of wars. There will be famines, floods, severe weather and that the world will grow cold. The world has lost so much morale and value, it's sickening.

And when that unknown number of gentiles (non jews) come to know Jesus, God will send His Son to gather His Flock. And for those left behind, life will be very bad. You get 'one last chance' to come to know Jesus, but you missed out on the Rapture and have to live through the Tribulation (if you survive it). But, if you came to Jesus after the Rapture, whether you live or die don't matter. You will have eternal life in the presence of the LORD.

Whatever you do, DO NOT take the mark in order to buy or sell after the Rapture.

We will discuss this to greater length very soon.

Saturday Night's Alright For Laughing
At 6pm Eastern, Syl and her kids do a great show til 8pm. Every week it's different and unpredictable. Then at 8pm Eastern, I do a reminisce night. It's a 1 hour show geared to make you all smile, laugh and just adore remembering our past time growing up. It's a fun, clean show great for all ages.

Welcome Aboard
I remember how happy Syl and I were when we met tree (Rachel) and asked her to help us with our site and tree said yes *Smiles* Her devotionals are wonderful and can be found in our forum. In addition, we have just asked Dennis and Daye to help us as DJ's. Dennis will DJ Mondays through Fridays from 9am to noon Eastern. Daye will DJ Monday and Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm Eastern. They will be added to our DJ Schedule over the weekend. The DJ Schedule can be found by scrolling down on our Home Page www.returnofthekingradio.com

Time To Spring Ahead
It is our goal here at ROTK Radio to always be humble servants to our Father and Creator. One of our goals is to allow God to work through us and through this web site as a tool that gives Him all Glory. As you can see on our home page, we have added lots of news and articles that touch base with Scripture and also "End Times Living" - which is where we are in the timeline. Jesus said to watch for the signs. And those signs are getting more clearer and frequent everyday. It is our duty to equip you all with knowledge of the signs of the times - the times of the signs. With Jesus being the Shepherd and we being His Flock, it's our hearts desire to help add more to that flock. Just remember one thing and read the next sentence very slow. There doesn't have to be another prophecy fulfilled in order for God the Father to send His Son, Jesus. It can be any time .. any moment. God gives us all a choice.

*Feeling Good About Ourselves Part 1

Greetings and blessings to you all !

I wanted to discuss with you all about how our insides feel when we've done something - anything - to feel good about ourselves. Note the word anything. I said anything because we're all different. Some of us feel good about ourselves when we have helped someone in a situation. Or, when we have donated our money to help a child in a poor country. Even if we donate our time where we have strengths in certain areas that help those who don't. We also tend to feel good when we have achieved our goals or won in a competition. There are many more.

But, let's go back to the word 'anything'. We have at some point in our life also felt good about ourselves when we have gotten away with something. Have you ever cheated on an exam? If you have, it feels great to get that good grade and not get caught. Ever have an affair with someone? If you have, it feels great to get away with it.

BUT ...

Not all of us feel good when we have done something right or wrong. Like I stated above, we're all different. Some of us feel guilty when we have done something right or wrong. It just depends on the situation.

Jesus said, "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth". Matthew 6:24

.
Strong Words from a Wise Man.

You see people, what we need to do is choose one master and stay with that one master. Not serve two. Choose Jesus, and you live - even if you die in His Name. Not choosing Jesus leads to death.

Feeling good about ourselves can be achieved whether we choose Him or not. But, we can only have one master. God is one and Satan is the other. The greatest sin we can ever commit is rejecting the salvation message of Jesus Christ. If you reject Him, you lose out on eternal life in the presence of God the Father.

The next time you have done something that made you feel good about yourself, I want you to reflect on this lesson and ask yourself - Why do I feel good? Which master did I just please?

The greatest feeling for me is when God worked through me to save another. But God gets all the glory and all the honor. Personally, I adore doing 'anything' that serves Him and brings Him all Glory. It's His Way, His Timing and His Will.

If you want to feel good about yourself where it pleases God, start by simply giving thanks before you eat any meal. It's simple. It's easy. But most important, it's the way it ought to be. Giving thanks to the Lord when we wake up, before we eat and in everything we do needs to be a daily part of our lives. Doing this with a willing heart to please Him makes us feel good inside. This is the start of allowing Him to Work in us and change us on the inside.

Remember, choosing the Lord to be our Master and Loving Father is the start of a great eternal life. It starts here on earth in this world of sin, but the benefits are jaw dropping. I will touch base on this topic very soon so we all can learn how to please the Loving Master we have in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Start by asking Him to Work in you. Give Him thanks. This is the start of you feeling good about yourself. Join me soon as we continue to change our lives to please Him and give Him ALL Glory, Honor, Praise and Worship.

*Before We Leave The House

I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving (those who celebrate it) !!!

I wanted to share something we can all relate to very easily. Now, we're all different in some ways (style of clothing we wear, hobbies we have, what we watch on tv), and we're also quite similar in some ways (we need to eat, we need money to survive, we need a roof over our heads).

I wanted to share something that I believe we all have in common. And that is, what we must have before we leave the house. I bet we can all agree we need our wallets and hand bags. Most of us have our money, credit cards and/or identification stored in there. I'm sure once again we can agree most of us must have our cell phones with us. We must also have our house keys and car keys.

Now, is there anything else we must have? Not what we'd like to have. But, must have. Hmmmm, other than clothes on our person, I cannot think of anything else we "must have".

There's lots of things we could also bring before we leave the house. But, I'm talking about things we must make absolute certain we have. Money, I.D., Phone and Keys I believe are the must haves.

Well, is there anything else we must have? There is one if you're trying to walk a good walk with the Lord. There is one if you're trying to learn the things believers need to learn everyday at any spare time we have. And, that is :

The bible.

Whether it's a pocket size one or our full size bibles, I make sure mine is always in the car. Where that car goes, I go, the bible goes !

How many of us make sure we have the bible with us where it's right up there in our brains like the phone, money, id and keys ???

Do you see my point? My point is this. The bible is the history book of the universe. It's the authority of God. It's our instructional manuel written by 40 authors inspired by the Creator Himself, God our Father. Where we go, it needs to go.

Are you willing to make the thought of always having your bible at the top of the list before we leave the house? I pray that you do. I pray that you read it everyday. I pray that you are always ready with an answer when someone has a question. And, if you don't know the answer, then simply say you will have it next time. Just ask your pastor for help, pray to God and ask for the wisdom and look in the bible.

Let's all set our priorities.

Are we Bold in sharing God's Love?

Good afternoon everyone,

This is the first blog I have written, and partially because I do not feel I am the teacher of the word that Frankee is. I have been the student, and happily so.

However God often uses me as a testimonial and when he presses down on me I feel compelled to share the lessons in life that He has taught me.

Over the past several months my life has been nothing less than challenging, and so often we tend to get so wrapped up in our tribulations and wants and needs, we tend to forget God's purpose for us.

As this lesson poured forth in my evening tonight at work from God and He pressed down on me, once again I felt the fires to share racing through me.

I am a district manager for a retail chain, and a huge portion of my job is to train sales associates and managers etc. This week I was conducting training sessions for about 400 associates, the manager’s on my team seemed discouraged and as if they felt they were not making any differences with the associates. I always tell the managers that help me train, it’s not about changing 400 because we will not always be able to change the minds of that many people at once, however what makes the job worth while are the few that we make a real difference in their lives and they further their careers and lives. As time passes, more and more begin to believe they can do better and we help grow a very successful market full of associates that have self esteem and confidence.

After two days of training sessions and each day lasting 14 hours we were on our final training for the week. It seemed as if everyone had their last blast of energy and it was as always fun! As I was speaking in front of about 50 associates in this last class I mentioned that my family was involved in a church, it was very casual and I didn’t elaborate.

However, after the class a young man came to me and said, "What church do you go to" I told him and then he said “Are you saved?" I was a bit shocked, and I said “excuse me?" He repeated himself and I told him absolutely, after talking a few moments about the training and church I shook his hand and gave him a smile with a “Good to meet you brother." Those around us looked shocked. Everyone was quiet during the entire exchange. The young man left and we proceeded to pack everything up.

On my drive home, which is often a time I get to spend talking to God and praising Him, God spoke very clearly to me, He told me that every person standing around us, during the exchange between myself and the associate, is not saved and asked me what I as going to do about it.

When I said God spoke clearly to me, I want to clarify I am not saying that God personally has shown himself to me and told me to do these things. But as with everyone our Awesome God knows just how to challenge me and show me what he wishes of me,as well as how to teach me. I often get frustrated because I do not clearly understand the bible as much as I would like, but then I find God finds ways of teaching me through experience and then I find the scripture needed to relate to those experiences and they are then made clear to me.

As I drove home and prayed, the ideas of how I can spread the Gospel in a job where everything around me is secular and it is taboo to share your religious beliefs, ideas started to flood fast and furious, and God was speaking to me and pressing down on me on how I could not only begin to spread the news, but also how to share that with everyone at ROTKR.

When I began to write about this I asked myself the following questions:

1. What are the ways I can spread the gospel? Even in a workforce that we are "forced to not share our religious beliefs and hide the fact that we Love God, I have now found several ways to share the good news, and perhaps not the way any of us would think, its in smaller things like talking about church events, carrying my bible in my car, reading my Creation magazine during small breaks, And passing out business cards for ROTKR. The next day after I came up with this list, a gentleman at work started asking me questions and while we were working we had nearly a 2 hour long conversation about salvation.

2. Am I so willing to be so BOLD in sharing the good news face to face? Sometimes we are often scared to share the word; scared we will be criticized, persecuted and cast out, no longer part of the group. So I have to say I have not been so open, or so bold to share my relationship with Jesus Christ.

However God will never leave us, humans will always forsake us and God will never leave us. He is the one we will worship for all eternity, and He is our true Father, and teacher. God does not want us to hide our relationship with Him, he is after all a Jealous God, He gave us all we have, and He wants us to outwardly praise, worship and spread his glory and the love that we share in fellowship with him.

And He said to them, "Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men." Matthew 4:19 - The words "Follow me" are very powerful, Jesus is the expert at fishing for men, and when we follow Him, and learn by His footsteps, We then will become fishers of men.

3. Am I equipping my children to be able to do the same? When I arrived home that night I shared with my daughter Samantha, I see God working in all of my children and I see that they are slowly being able to share more, and not afraid to be brave and stand up for Jesus. Everyday I pray that my children will be able to not succumb to the worldly desires that it seems everyday we are faced with. I fail often at giving into their desires and their wishes, it is a natural instinct of a woman and even more so for a mother to want to please those that she loves, and want to give them everything they desire. I find myself bending to please my children, my friends, my partner, my employees, and I must stop bending when it comes to the desires of God and what He wishes of myself and children. Frankee has done a wonderful Blog on Luke Called ‘Hitting Rock Bottom” This was on October 10th, take a moment to read this one.

*From Here To Eternity

Greetings and Blessing to you all !

I wanted to share a fact with you all. When you were created by mom and dad, you inherited 23 chromosomes from each parent. You inherited a mixture of their genes. You inherited a mixture of their DNA. You have their information within you. And your information is less than theirs due to mistakes in reproduction. That happens to all living creatures. But there is something you did not inherit from either at all. Do you know what that is?

Your soul.

Your soul was a gift from God, our Maker and Creator. Even though you were created from the male sperm dwelling with the female egg, the breath of life was given to you from God Himself. The soul is not something created through love making, but a gift from God and God Alone!!!

So, now that we know where our soul came from, what do we do about it? What do we know about our soul? And, most importantly, why is it so vital to each of us? Let's talk about it.

Our soul is unique. We each have our very own soul created through our loving Father, God. Now God tells us in Scripture that our soul will live on forever and ever. Awesome right? Sound good to us, right? Well, that depends on 'where' our soul is going to live forever and ever in. The bible teaches there are two places. Heaven and Hell. To put it in another way, in the presence of God (Heaven), or away from the presence of God (Hell). Forever and ever.

So, now comes your choice that we each get in life. We can choose to go to Heaven or to Hell. Question. How do we get to Heaven? Is the answer being good people, going to church every week, participating in church events, praying daily for others, having fellowship with God, reading the bible daily, being charitable, extending your house to help those in need, giving more than 10% for tithes, obeying the 10 Commandments, visiting those in Hospice to offer smiles and communication before they pass on, attending bible studies weekly, teaching/participation for children's church and passing out bible tracks??? Is all the above the ticket to Heaven? Well, is it??

No.

Those listed above are all wonderful and definitely pleasing to God. HOWEVER, all the above is not enough. Works are not our way in to God's everlasting realm. Would you like to know the answer now? Do ya??

Open your bible and you'll get the answer. These verses tell us how we get to Heaven.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

For the wages of sin is death, but the free Gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Savior. Romans 6:23

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

It's all about believing in Jesus with all your heart. Once you believe, acknowledge you're a sinner in need of a savior and ask Jesus to come into your heart and your life, THEN those wonderful things I listed above follow it. That's how we get to Heaven. If you reject Jesus Christ, then you are committing the greatest sin of them all. And, when you're kneeling before Jesus Christ, and He does not see your name in the Book of Life, and He says to you that you were given many chances to receive Me, you're going to be balling your eyes out knowing you're living forever away from the presence of the Lord.

People? The time is NOW that you get your life right with God and His Son, Jesus Christ. We are living in the end times. When millions of people just disappear off the face of the planet, and you're left behind, remember the people who tried to talk to you about Jesus and you just pushed it away. You'll have another chance however, but it'll be extremely difficult here on earth after the Lord collects His people.

Your soul will either be living forever in the presence of God (Accepting and Believing in Jesus), or away from the presence of God (Rejecting and Disbelieving in Jesus). I pray you all come to the Savior and the King of kings, the Lord of lords - Jesus Christ.

I'm sure you know about the horrific fires going on in California. We're not just talking about forests and a few homes. We're not talking about evacuating 100 or more people. Try this on for size:

The wind-driven fires had burned 410,000 acres, or about 640 square miles, causing at least $100 million in damage. The series of 16 wildfires has destroyed nearly 1,600 homes. The fires have injured 21 firefighters and at least 24 others. One person was killed by the flames, and the San Diego medical examiner's officer listed four other deaths as connected to the blazes. Over 750,000 people have been evacuated. Some people even left their pets behind to die in the flames because there was no chance in getting close enough to rescue them. The wildfires have led to the largest evacuation in state history. By the time you read this, I'm sure the numbers will have increased.

Terrible, isn't it? A total tragedy. Forests have burned. Homes have burned. Animals have burned. People's pockets have burned. Lives have burned.

There's no fun in getting burned. They are very painful depending whether it's a first, second, third degree or worse. Even getting burned from a con artist or a witty worded salesman burns us. Ever get burned from someone? It's hard to forgive, isn't it? There's no positive whatsoever in a burning. Or, is there?

Well, that depends on our heart. That's right. Our heart. Our hearts can burn with desire for someone or something. Let's take a look in Scripture to find out more.

Luke 24 - The Resurrection
1But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared.
2And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb,
3but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
4While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in dazzling clothing;
5and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you seek the living One among the dead?
6"He is not here, but He has risen Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee,
7saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again."
8And they remembered His words,
9and returned from the tomb and reported all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.
10Now they were Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James; also the other women with them were telling these things to the apostles.
11But these words appeared to them as nonsense, and they would not believe them.
12But Peter got up and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen wrappings only; and he went away to his home, marveling at what had happened.

The Road to Emmaus
13And behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem.
14And they were talking with each other about all these things which had taken place.
15While they were talking and discussing, Jesus Himself approached and began traveling with them.
16But their eyes were prevented from recognizing Him.
17And He said to them, "What are these words that you are exchanging with one another as you are walking?" And they stood still, looking sad.
18One of them, named Cleopas, answered and said to Him, "Are You the only one visiting Jerusalem and unaware of the things which have happened here in these days?"
19And He said to them, "What things?" And they said to Him, "The things about Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word in the sight of God and all the people,
20and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to the sentence of death, and crucified Him.
21"But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, it is the third day since these things happened.
22"But also some women among us amazed us. When they were at the tomb early in the morning,
23and did not find His body, they came, saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said that He was alive.
24"Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just exactly as the women also had said; but Him they did not see."
25And He said to them, "O foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
26"Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?"
27Then beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.
28And they approached the village where they were going, and He acted as though He were going farther.
29But they urged Him, saying, "Stay with us, for it is getting toward evening, and the day is now nearly over." So He went in to stay with them.
30When He had reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them.
31Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight.
32They said to one another, "Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?"
33And they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found gathered together the eleven and those who were with them,
34saying, "The Lord has really risen and has appeared to Simon."
35They began to relate their experiences on the road and how He was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread.

What's happening in this descriptive event that took place literally hours after Jesus' Resurrection? Well, two men looking sad as they were walking saw a Man whom their eyes could not recognize (It was Jesus). Jesus started talking to them about Scripture as they continued to walk. The men were loving as this Man kept talking. When they invited the Man (Jesus) to join them for food and shelter for the night, THEN they recognized it was Jesus when He gave thanks and broke bread. What was their reaction? Read again these two versus.

31Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight.
32They said to one another, "Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?"

Were not our hearts burning with desire as He spoke Scripture to us. You see, people, that when we ask Jesus into our lives, it doesn't stop there. We have the Seal of the Holy Spirit within us. The more we obey the bible and study it, the more we are desiring to learn more and more. The desire BURNS deep within our spirit, body, mind and soul.

Please pray for the victims in this catastrophic burning event going on in California. And, keep reading Scripture so the burning within us keeps desiring more of Jesus Christ and Wisdom in our daily lives.

I want to share with all of you a very deep and very clear passage from the Book of Luke.

Luke 15:11-32 (New American Standard Bible).

The Prodigal Son.

Jesus speaking:

11And He said, "A man had two sons.
12"The younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the share of the estate that falls to me ' So he divided his wealth between them.
13"And not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together and went on a journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose living.
14"Now when he had spent everything, a severe famine occurred in that country, and he began to be impoverished.
15"So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16"And he would have gladly filled his stomach with the pods that the swine were eating, and no one was giving anything to him.
17"But when he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's hired men have more than enough bread, but I am dying here with hunger!
18'I will get up and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight;
19I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of your hired men."'
20"So he got up and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.
21"And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'
22"But the father said to his slaves, 'Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet;
23and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate;
24for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.' And they began to celebrate.
25"Now his older son was in the field, and when he came and approached the house, he heard music and dancing.
26"And he summoned one of the servants and began inquiring what these things could be.
27"And he said to him, 'Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has received him back safe and sound.'
28"But he became angry and was not willing to go in; and his father came out and began pleading with him.
29"But he answered and said to his father, 'Look! For so many years I have been serving you and I have never neglected a command of yours; and yet you have never given me a young goat, so that I might celebrate with my friends;
30but when this son of yours came, who has devoured your wealth with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.'
31"And he said to him, 'Son, you have always been with me, and all that is mine is yours.
32'But we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found.'"

The father of the prodigal son was indeed a smart man. He knew his son would fail when given his share of the wealth. So, why did the father allow his son to spend all the money on reckless spending and prostitution? Because, the father knew his son had to hit rock bottom in order to open the eyes of his heart. The father knew this son needed pruning. This son had to hit so low - after all - the son was feeding pigs - and worse yet - was eating the scraps the pigs left.

The father is an example of the Father - God ! God knows us better than we know ourselves. God knows that those He has chosen need to hit rock bottom. We need to come to a place in our lives that we depend on God and God alone. To surrender ourselves in total submission. To rid of 'self'. To rid of 'our will'. To rid of 'our way'. To rid of 'in our timing'.

THEN we are ready to serve God - of 'His will' - 'His way' - 'His timing'.

I have an assignment for you all. I want you to think of someone - anyone - who might have hit rock bottom, or is on their way. It can be someone you know, or even someone you don't (celebrity, star etc...). Once you make your choice, leave a comment down below by clicking "Comment".

I will choose someone as an example. Britney Spears. How much more can go wrong in her life before she hits rock bottom? It would be so nice for her to come to Jesus Christ. To desire to allow Him to make changes in her life. For her to surrender herself to Jesus and serve Him. To see her on television with a changed heart. A heart that desires to spread the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus. A heart that desires to follow Jesus Christ !!! Amen?

MOSCOW (Oct. 1) - When Sputnik took off 50 years ago, the world gazed at the heavens in awe and apprehension, watching what seemed like the unveiling of a sustained Soviet effort to conquer space and score a stunning Cold War triumph.
But 50 years later, it emerges that the momentous launch was far from being part of a well-planned strategy to demonstrate communist superiority over the West. Instead, the first artificial satellite in space was a spur-of-the-moment gamble driven by the dream of one scientist, whose team scrounged a rocket, slapped together a satellite and persuaded a dubious Kremlin to open the space age.And that winking light that crowds around the globe gathered to watch in the night sky? Not Sputnik at all, as it turns out, but just the second stage of its booster rocket, according to Boris Chertok, one of the founders of the Soviet space program.In a series of interviews in recent days with The Associated Press, Chertok and other veterans told the little-known story of how Sputnik was launched, and what an unlikely achievement it turned out to be.Chertok couldn't whisper a word about the project through much of his lifetime. His name, and that of Sergei Korolyov, the chief scientist, were a state secret. Today, at age 95 and talking to a small group of reporters in Moscow, Chertok can finally give full voice to his pride at the pivotal role he played in the history of space exploration."Each of these first rockets was like a beloved woman for us," he said. "We were in love with every rocket, we desperately wanted it to blast off successfully. We would give our hearts and souls to see it flying."This very rational exuberance, and Korolyov's determination, were the key to Sputnik's success.So was happenstance.As described by the former scientists, the world's first orbiter was born out of a very different Soviet program: the frantic development of a rocket capable of striking the United States with a hydrogen bomb.Because there was no telling how heavy the warhead would be, its R-7 ballistic missile was built with thrust to spare - "much more powerful than anything the Americans had," Georgy Grechko, a rocket engineer and cosmonaut, told AP.The towering R-7's high thrust and payload capacity, unmatched at the time, just happened to make it the perfect vehicle to launch an object into orbit - something never done before.Without the looming nuclear threat, Russian scientists say, Sputnik would probably have gotten off the ground much later."The key reason behind the emergence of Sputnik was the Cold War atmosphere and our race against the Americans," Chertok said. "The military missile was the main thing we were thinking of at the moment."When the warhead project hit a snag, Korolyov, the father of the Soviet space program, seized the opportunity.Korolyov, both visionary scientist and iron-willed manager, pressed the Kremlin to let him launch a satellite. The U.S. was already planning such a move in 1958, he pointed out, as part of the International Geophysical Year.But while the government gave approval in January 1956, the military brass wanted to keep the missile for the bomb program, Grechko, 76, said in an interview. "They treated the satellite as a toy, a silly fantasy of Korolyov."The U.S. had its own satellite program, Grechko said. "The Americans proudly called their project 'Vanguard,' but found themselves behind us."The Soviet Union already had a full-fledged scientific satellite in development, but it would take too long to complete, Korolyov knew. So he ordered his team to quickly sketch a primitive orbiter. It was called PS-1, for "Prosteishiy Sputnik" - the Simplest Satellite.Grechko, who calculated the trajectory for the first satellite's launch, said he and other young engineers tried to persuade Korolyov to pack Sputnik with some scientific instruments. Korolyov refused, saying there was no time."If Korolyov had listened to us and started putting more equipment on board, the Americans could have opened the space era," Grechko said.The satellite, weighing just 184 pounds, was built in less than three months. Soviet designers built a pressurized sphere of polished aluminum alloy with two radio transmitters and four antennas. An earlier satellite project envisaged a cone shape, but Korolyov preferred the sphere."The Earth is a sphere, and its first satellite also must have a spherical shape," Chertok, a longtime deputy of Korolyov, recalled him saying.Sputnik's surface was polished to perfection to better deflect the sun's rays and avoid overheating.The launch was first scheduled for Oct. 6. But Korolyov suspected that the U.S. might be planning a launch a day earlier. The KGB was asked to check, and reported turning up nothing.Korolyov was taking no chances. He immediately canceled some last-minute tests and moved up the launch by two days, to Oct. 4, 1957."Better than anyone else Korolyov understood how important it was to open the space era," Grechko said. "The Earth had just one moon for a billion years and suddenly it would have another, artificial moon!"Soon after blastoff from the arid steppes of the Soviet Republic of Kazakhstan, the satellite sent out what would be the world's most famous beep. But the engineers on the ground didn't immediately grasp its importance."At that moment we couldn't fully understand what we had done," Chertok recalled. "We felt ecstatic about it only later, when the entire world ran amok. Only four or five days later did we realize that it was a turning point in the history of civilization."Immediately after the launch, Korolyov called Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev to report the success. Khrushchev's son, Sergei, who was alongside his father at the moment, recalled that they listened to the satellite's beep-beep and went to bed.Sergei Khrushchev said that at first they saw the Sputnik's launch as simply one in a series of Soviet technological achievements, like a new passenger jet or the first atomic power plant."All of us - Korolyov's men, people in the government, Khrushchev and myself - saw that as just yet another accomplishment showing that the Soviet economy and science were on the right track," the younger Khrushchev, now a senior fellow at Brown University's Watson Institute for International Studies, said in a telephone interview.The first official Soviet report of Sputnik's launch was brief and buried deep in Pravda, the Communist Party daily. Only two days later did it offer a banner headline, quoting the avalanche of foreign praise.Pravda also published a description of Sputnik's orbit to help people watch it pass. The article failed to mention that the light seen moving across the sky was the spent booster rocket's second stage, which was in roughly same orbit, Chertok said.The tiny orbiter was invisible to the naked eye.Excited by the global furor, Khrushchev ordered Korolyov immediately to launch a new satellite, this time, to mark the Nov. 7 anniversary of the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution."We didn't believe that you would outpace the Americans with your satellite, but you did it. Now you should launch something new by Nov. 7," Korolyov quoted Khrushchev telling him, according to Grechko.Working round-the-clock, Korolyov and his team built another spacecraft in less than a month. On Nov. 3, they launched Sputnik 2, which weighed 1,118 pounds. It carried the world's first living payload, a mongrel dog named Laika, in its tiny pressurized cabin.The dog died of the heat after a week, drawing protests from animal-lovers. But the flight proved that a living being could survive in space, paving the way for human flight.The first Sputnik beeped for three weeks and spent about three months in orbit before burning up in the atmosphere. It circled Earth more than 1,400 times, at just under 100 minutes an orbit.For Korolyov there was bitterness as well as triumph. He was never mentioned in any contemporary accounts of the launch, and his key role was known to only a few officials and space designers.Leonid Sedov, a member of the Soviet Academy of Sciences with no connection to space program, was erroneously touted in the West as the Father of Sputnik. Korolyov, meanwhile, was only allowed to publish his non-sensitive research under the pseudonym "Professor K. Sergeyev."Khrushchev rejected the Nobel committee's offer to nominate Korolyov for a prize, insisting that it was the achievement of "the entire Soviet people."Sergei Khrushchev said his father thought singling out Korolyov would anger other rocket designers and hamper the missile and space programs."These people were like actors; they would all have been madly jealous at Korolyov," he said. "I think my father's decision was psychologically correct. But, of course, Sergei Korolyov felt deeply hurt."Korolyov's daughter, Natalia, recalled in a book that the veil of secrecy vexed her father. "We are like miners - we work underground," she recalls him saying. "No one sees or hears us."The Soviet Union and the rest of the world learned Korolyov's name only after his death in 1966. Today his Moslades so long denied them."The rivalry in space, even though it had military reasons, has pushed the mankind forward," said Valery Korzun, a cosmonaut who serves as a deputy chief of the Star City cosmonaut training center. "Our achievements today are rooted in that competition."In the end, it was the Americans who won the race to the moon, nearly 22 years later. Khrushchev wasn't interested in getting there, his son says, and the effort made under his successor, Leonid Brezhnev, was underfunded and badly hampered by rifts between Korolyov and other designers."We wouldn't have been the first on the moon anyway," Grechko said. "We lost the race because our electronics industry was inferior."Today, even as Sputnik recedes into the history books, its memory still exercises a powerful grip. In August, when a Russian flag was planted on the sea bed at the North Pole, the Kremlin compared it to Neil Armstrong stepping on the moon - an indication, perhaps, of how much Russians still treasure that first victory in space.

*More Powerful Than A Locomotive

Greetings to all !

When you think of the word power, what exactly comes to your mind? Is it electricity? Is it DC Comics Superman's strength, heat vision, freeze breath and x-ray vision? Perhaps what's under the hood of a Ford Mustang or an Audi TT? How about even winning the lottery called Powerball in some states? When I think of power, I guess it depends on the context of the conversation. But, when asked what is real power, my answer is the power of God. God sustains all things.

20For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope
21that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
22For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. Romans 8:20-22 NASB

What are these verses saying? They're saying that God sustains all things. Let's go over this together. First, let's talk about the difference of all creation before sin and after sin. Before sin entered through one man, Adam (also called the First Adam), there was no such thing as death. Death is a consequence of sin. Because sin entered, death came into existence.

[ Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ ] Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned— Romans 5:12 NIV

When God created all things in 6 normal length days, death was not in the vocabulary. No death, no pain, no suffering, no decay, no sweating - get the idea? But sin changed all that. The choice Adam (First Adam) made rebelled against God. Adam broke God's Commandment of eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. And in doing so, death and pain and suffering and all that bad stuff came into existence.

Let's get back to His sustaining power. You see, the whole of creation was created by God and for God, and He sustained His perfect creation with order and structure with His power. When Adam sinned, the sin effected the whole of creation. Everything we see and not see is now in decay. God did not let go of this sustaining power, but He released some of it. When did God let go of His sustaining power that the history of the bible teaches? The global flood in the days of Noah. The cities Sodom and Gomorrah completely destroyed from fire and brimstone. Get the idea?

God is all powerful. But, He's not just a power of force, energy, being capable of speaking creation into existence. More importantly than any of that, is that He loves with total agape (unconditional; loving you even if you hate Him) love. The power of His love is the most powerful of all. Agape love !

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 NKJV

God's Son, Jesus Christ (Last Adam), was born to die. Jesus lived a sinless life and shed His blood so that you wouldn't have to. Believing in Jesus with ALL your heart, desiring to follow Him and learn scripture - to spread the Gospel all over the earth - this is what Jesus looks at. Your heart. Your intentions.

What your heart desires, it will follow.

Don't ever forget that. What your heart desires, it will follow. Allow the sustaining power, the sustaining love of God to be in you and with you forever and ever. Believe in the One. Believe in Jesus Christ. With all your heart, body, mind and soul. Amen

*What Does Swinging A Baseball Bat Have To Do With Jesus Christ ?

I wanted to share this with you. The Lord put this nifty thought in my head. It's a fun analogy and I believe you'll see the point at the end. Remember this for later - that God gave everyone a choice - starting with Adam and Eve.

You're the batter standing in the batters box.

Jesus is the baseball.

You have a choice in life just like baseball.

You can choose to swing at a pitch you believe is good, or

not swing at a pitch that you don't believe is good.

The pitcher winds up and releases the ball.

Within a half a second, you come to a choice. Life offers choices

just like the game of baseball.

Jesus Christ, the ball, is coming at you. Hoping you CHOOSE

to believe in this pitch and swing at it.

Whether you hit the ball or miss, is not what Jesus looks at.

He looks at our heart. He looks at our intentions from our heart.

And,

once you CHOOSE to swing, you must follow through with your swing.

However, if you don't believe in the ball, then you'll let it go

and not swing at it. This eventually leads to a loss.

Jesus desires that you believe in the ball.

Jesus desires you believe in Him, Swing and Follow Through.

Believe with all your heart in Jesus and you win!

It's a choice we need to make. All people have and will have the opportunity to make this choice. And, I'm confident God will allow this choice to occur in your life as much as possible. However, the number of Gentiles (non Jews) are quickly getting to that unknown number that only God the Father knows. Once that number is fulfilled, He sends His Son, Jesus Christ, to come in the air and collect His church. The dead in Christ rise first, then the living. The time is imminent.

What kind of a batter are you? One who believes and swings? Or, one who does not believe and just lets the ball go? Choose to swing and follow through, and you win! Choose differently, and you lose.

Reading what's on the front page of newspapers, listening to the nightly news or clicking stories on the Internet can be quite painful with what's going on in this world we live in. A few days ago, I asked you all to pray for Britney Spears and those like her who make decisions that tend to make their lives miserable. I know it's any person's choice to make these decisions, but that doesn't mean we ought to not pray for them. Jesus said to love everyone. Don't you pray for loved ones? Do you know how many Christians I know personally that prayed for Saddam Hussein in hopes he would come to know Jesus Christ before being executed?

Notice OJ Simpson is once again in the top news. Tom Cruise continues to defend his faith in Scientology. Does Madonna believe in the Kaballah or not? They are people just like you and me. They may happen to be wealthy and popular, but that does not give any Born Again Christian the excuse to not pray for them. These people need our prayers. I suggest you start praying immediately and hope they all come to know Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior !

I wanted to share some verses from the Bible before I talk about what's in my heart.

A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret. Proverbs 11:13 (NIV).

A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends. Proverbs 16:28 (NIV).

Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying things they ought not to. 1 Timothy 5:13 (NIV).

I wanted to talk about what is in my heart and it involves a celebrity. My intentions are pure, and not to gossip. I wanted to talk about a recent pop singer and dancer who lately has been involved with a husband who is divorcing her, children who are being fought in court for who has custody and a recent bad performance for the MTV awards where many have complained. That's right people. Britney Spears.

I have read in the past that Britney is either of these two possibilities. And, both are quite different. She has either been brought up in a christian household, or that she's a born again christian. Just because someone was brought up as a christian doesn't mean that person(s) has asked Jesus Christ into their heart and life. What bothers me is that Britney, and so many others out there in the Hollywoodesce kinda lifestyle are lost and smothered in the worldliness, the secular, the evil that seems to prevail over most, not all, but most people that achieve popularity, success, money, pressures different from the average joes and janes, to be sucked up and brought down even though they believe they're on top of the world when things go well for a temporary time in their life.
No man or woman has the right to judge one's heart. And I certainly am not judging Britney's. But rather, I'm asking people to pray for her. If she is in the family of Christ, or if she isn't, we ought to be praying for her. That God the Almighty can give her strength and wisdom. Britney, and others who are in this lifestyle, though not all of them, seem to get these shackles that bind them, brings them down to destroy them, all from the media which seems to do it so well - to make them or break them. All people need to realize is that Jesus came, He saw and He conquered Satan and death. He shed His blood so that we would not have to...and...He did this because Jesus loves us dearly. Even those who reject Him, hate Him. Jesus can free Britney from these shackles. But, she needs to open the door that He (Jesus) has been standing at and just open it. Let Him in! He's been knocking and knocking.

Whether you, the reader of this article, believes this or not. Jesus is coming back. Are you in His family? Are you living for Him? Or against Him. Humble your hearts. The radio is playing Christian music Yayyyy!!! Our Daily Teaching has a new page showing what's new up top. The Archives now has our new Sermon Player. Listen to Sunday's Introduction now! And, the Affiliates now has working clickable links bringing up a p0p-up window. Finally, we have incredible videos to watch at the bottom of this very page. Just scroll down !!! Whewww! What we need now is a good night's sleep...lol.

Thanks to all of you. Our first night was incredible! We had so much fun. All feedback was positive. And that made Sylvia's night and mine, too! Sunday at 5pm EST will be a live radio broadcast of myself, Frankee, doing a tutorial of our web page. It'll help enhance what we have to offer here.
